In this “Hip-Hoppin’” class students will be introduced to the basics of hip hop. Classes will begin with a time of stretching and warming up. The children will then spend time learning different hip hop moves that will be incorporated into their dance. It is a great way for the children to learn about other types of worship music and about how to worship through dance. At the end of this class the children will have the opportunity to perform their dance in JAM’s Variety Show! Children should wear comfortable clothes to dance class (leggings, t-shirts, sweatpants, etc.) and should wear sneakers. The costume purchased for this class will be kept by the students once the recital is over. This class will be an upbeat, fun introduction to the style of hip hop!
Please see the calendar for the specific dates that this class meets.
