Have your children ever watched food network and wanted to learn how to work in a kitchen? Do they love helping you out when you are cooking in the kitchen? Then our cooking class is the class for them! During this cooking class your children will become sous chefs in the kitchen! They will get to learn how to make lots of yummy recipes for meals and snacks. They will also get to taste their yummy creations.  The children will also learn all about kitchen safety so that they can help prepare meals in the kitchen at home.  In this class the children will try new foods and learn all about how to prepare a recipe.  This is a great class that will introduce your children to the excitement of working in the kitchen!

About the Instructor

Laura Arlington
I am a wife, mother of 5 and grandmother to 5 and a member of JUMC for two years. I participated in Anchors Away 2017, a substitute Sunday School teacher for the 2016/2017 school year and am now the Nursery Sunday School teacher. Am a CFF Mentor and a member of the Women’s Bible Book Club. A Homebound visitor and a loving and giving individual.

I have been cooking/baking since the age of 8 as the eldest of seven siblings and several foster children.  Quick meals are a specialty. Kitchen safety is a must and a learned skill and your child will learn this in our class. Your child will learn how to cook on their level using appropriate tools and cooking means. The student will learn to cook nutritious meals with interaction & have fun learning.
