OZ! Information – Spring 2021

After a delay due to COVID, we’re back and ready to continue with our Spring musical, OZ!

Current Cast – If you initially signed up for OZ in 2020 and want to keep your part, you do not need to audition again. If you would like to audition for a different or bigger part, you will need to sign up for an audition slot but do not need to pay the registration fee.

New Cast (5th-12th Grade) – Everyone who signs up for OZ gets a part! We have a limited number of speaking parts remaining to cast, however we have an open ensemble that anyone can be in. Regardless of whether you would like to be in the ensemble or have a speaking part, we ask that everyone goes through audition process, just so that we know your specific talents.

Please note that registration and auditioning are two different steps, but can be done together on the same order/checkout process.

Junior Jammers (2nd-4th Grade) – We’re excited to have our Junior Jammers join us for OZ! this year! All of our junior jammers will participate in the ensemble (munchkins, flying monkeys, etc.). However, if your child would like to try for a speaking part, we would love to see them at an audition! Junior Jammers rehearsals will start a few weeks after the main cast begins their rehearsal, please watch your email for announcements as to when practices start.

Please note that registration and auditioning are two different steps, but can be done together on the same order/checkout process.

Show Information

This year’s show will be held outside the weekend of June 11-13 (specific date/time TBD).

Rehearsal Info

Rehearsals will be on Thursdays 6-8pm and Sundays 3-6pm. You will receive a more detailed rehearsal schedule once the show is cast, everyone will not need to be at every rehearsal.

We understand that due to prior commitments, students may not be available for all rehearsals. We still encourage these students to audition for the musical and would love to have them part of the program! Please indicate any conflicts you have on your registration. Casting may be dependent on the actor’s scheduling availability. If you are unable to make a practice, just let us know as soon as you are able to. If you miss more than three practices without letting us know, your part may need to be re-cast.
